We unloaded our 53' truck and multiple bobtails at the Pyramid and loaded in at 4:00pm on Thursday working thru the night untill 6:00am to get our 2 Ground Supported truss rigs built and ready. Back at 9:00am with a fresh crew we were all set to go for doors at 6:00pm on Friday
For the two lighting rigs we provided Martin Mac 2K Profiles, 301's 550's and Atomic strobes along with some Varilight VL3500's. The ring had 96 Par64 1000 watt fixtures and the rigs were controlled by an Avolites Pearl and a Tiger. 10 1 ton CM motors got this all up in the air.
For Video we provided a Barco HD-20 with 20,000 lumens of light output and a Barco ScreenPRO 2 switcher among other things
The Audio rig was all Meyer Sound equipment as usual and featured many UPA-1P, along with Meyer's new Mina line array box used not only as main array for the Video/Entry stage but as a very effective downfill box to cover the live audience below the bleachers.Multiple 700HP and 500HP subwoofers and a pair of Galileo 616 processors were all a part of this great sounding system that was run through a Yamaha LS-9.Constant music playback is an integral part of a Muay Thai event and a robust and dynamic Meyer Rig adds a lot to the event.
So do the ever present Ring Girls
After the event all went off smoothly and I had a chance to get some sleep; I saw that we had a great view of the famous ship the Queen Mary from the Hotel room at the Hilton

We look forward to the return of our friends from Toronto Canada next December or January in Los Angeles California
