Cate School 100th Anniversary
We have been at Cate School all this week working side by side with the staff from Santa Barbara based Event Rents and the School itself to produce the Centennial Celebration.
Last night's gala dinner was the highlight of this four day production. Cate School has been preparing for this event for five years and by all reports and their own web site "Centennial Celebration- A wonderful event"
The staff at Cate School were a pleasure to work with and we were excited to be a part of this milestone event
We provided Sound,Lighting,Video and Power for this event and details are forthcoming.
The Audio rig was all Meyer Sound and included UPJ-1P flown mains, 700HP subs, UPA-1P outfills, UPM-1P front fill along with a Galileo 616 processor all run through a Yamaha LS-9 with 20 Shure UHF-R wireless and 16 Countryman E-6 headsets.
Power was provided by a 1400 Amp main generator supplemented by a 750 amp generator just for the kitchen. All of this was backed up by an additional 1400 amp generator.
Back up power is always a great idea on a milestone event
Video included two Eiki 6000 lumen projectors, a Barco ScreenPro II switcher with remote controller, D'San Perfect Cue and a 42" Panasonic plasma confidence monitor on stage
Lighting was designed by lighting designer Ted Dolas and included over 200 feet of ultra-light truss, 8 C/M prostar motors and as many lights as we could safely hang inside the 180' by 100ft tent. Weight and safety are always big issues on any tent lighting/rigging job
Congratulations to Cate School on their 100 year Anniversary!
